To delete your account data, go to your profile and settings. At the bottom, you'll find the delete option. Once you delete your account, you will receive an email confirming the deletion.

All personal data will be removed from our active database after 7 days. If you wish to reactivate your account within this period, please contact us at support@secondfit.com.au.

If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe by clicking the "unsubscribe link" at the bottom of any email from us.

Can I conduct sales in person?

Absolutely! Second Fit provides the flexibility to sell items through both online transactions and in-person sales.

This allows you to discover items you may need for your upcoming weekend event at the last minute.

We do recommend to follow these safety tips:

Bring a friend. Never go alone. Always bring someone with you and let others know where you’ll be.
Choose a public place. Meet in a well-lit, public area, preferably with CCTV, like a train station or shopping center. Avoid meeting at someone’s home or inviting them to yours.
Inspect the item. If the item is packaged, don’t hesitate to open it and check everything before you leave.

Who pays for shipping when selling an item online?

Currently, sellers are responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with online transactions on Second Fit. To accurately calculate these costs, it's advised to review the Australia Post's shipping rates and flat rates. How do I ship my online sales?

Second Fit recommends using Australia Post for shipping your items. Within the Second Fit app, you can conveniently upload item tracking ID numbers for easy item tracking. You'll find this feature in the sold and purchase receipt section via your profile menu, where Australia Post tracking is hyperlinked for quick access.

However, if you opt to use another shipping provider, please ensure that you still upload your item tracking ID and inform the buyer of this choice. This helps prevent any confusion between both parties involved in the transactions.

Shipping item to the buyer:

Step 1: Post your order

Please pack and post your sold item at your nearest Australian post office within the next 7 days.

Step 2: Update item tracking number

Upload the tracking number that Australia Post has given you, This will be located on the shipping receipt.

How old do I have to be to use Second Fit?

You have to be 13 or older to sign up to Second Fit, and you must be over 18 for Stripe

Stripe Payment 
for Stripe Payments usage, you need to be over 18 or meet the legal contract age in your country. This age requirement is in place because creating a Stripe account involves agreeing to a legally binding contract, and all Second Fit sellers must hold a Stripe account to list items on the platform.

Purchasing 
The SECOND FIT checkout system supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card payments directly through the SECOND FIT app. This is entirely separate from a Stripe seller account but Stripe Payments is the payment processing partner used by Second Fit for all transactions. as a buyer.

Connecting your Stripe account is still necessary to use Second Fit as a seller when listing items on Second Fit all transactions can be seen via the Stripe Express app.

If you're not 18 but wish to sell on Second Fit, we recommend discussing it with your parent or guardian. It's crucial to note that using anyone's Stripe account or payment when purchasing via card without permission is illegal.

Why does Second Fit need my date of birth?

The safety of our users is a top priority at SECOND FIT. To maintain a secure environment, we verify that anyone creating a SECOND FIT account is at least 13 years old – the minimum age required for buying and selling on SECOND FIT.

How can I provide or change my date of birth?
Simply navigate to Settings > Edit profile tap on 'Date of Birth and select your age.

Who can see my date of birth?
Your date of birth is private and not visible to other users. To see and review or update, go to your SECOND FIT settings and tap on Edit profile.

Why do I need to give my date of birth, and what will you do with it?
Your date of birth is used to confirm that you meet the age requirements for using SECOND FIT. Additionally, understanding the age demographics of our users helps us enhance the overall experience for the entire SECOND FIT community. What if I'm over 13 but under 18 years old?

What if I provided the wrong date of birth? Can I change it?

Why does Second Fit need my location?

Second Fit uses our members' location solely for the Fit Filter icon, assisting in finding listed items from sellers for sale within a specified distance. This feature is designed to provide a better overall experience for our members on the platform.

Unable to buy listing?

Accepted Answer

Listings will be disabled if members haven't been active within 12 weeks. This will ensure all items purchased on Second Fit are safe to buy and will be shipped in a timely manner. You can see if a user is inactive via their profile view.
