Absolutely! Second Fit provides the flexibility to sell items through both online transactions and in-person sales.
This allows you to discover items you may need for your upcoming weekend event at the last minute.
We do recommend to follow these safety tips:
Bring a friend. Never go alone. Always bring someone with you and let others know where you’ll be.
Choose a public place. Meet in a well-lit, public area, preferably with CCTV, like a train station or shopping center. Avoid meeting at someone’s home or inviting them to yours.
Inspect the item. If the item is packaged, don’t hesitate to open it and check everything before you leave.
Currently, sellers are responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with online transactions on Second Fit. To accurately calculate these costs, it's advised to review the Australia Post's shipping rates and flat rates. This will help you set an appropriate price for your items, factoring in the shipping expenses.

Second Fit recommends using Australia Post for shipping your items. Within the Second Fit app, you can conveniently upload item tracking ID numbers for easy item tracking. You'll find this feature in the sold and purchase receipt section via your profile menu, where Australia Post tracking is hyperlinked for quick access.
However, if you opt to use another shipping provider, please ensure that you still upload your item tracking ID and inform the buyer of this choice. This helps prevent any confusion between both parties involved in the transactions.

Upload the tracking number that Australia Post has given you, This will be located on the shipping receipt.

Stripe Payment
for Stripe Payments usage, you need to be over 18 or meet the legal contract age in your country. This age requirement is in place because creating a Stripe account involves agreeing to a legally binding contract, and all Second Fit sellers must hold a Stripe account to list items on the platform.
Purchasing
The SECOND FIT checkout system supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card payments directly through the SECOND FIT app. This is entirely separate from a Stripe seller account but Stripe Payments is the payment processing partner used by Second Fit for all transactions. as a buyer.
Connecting your Stripe account is still necessary to use Second Fit as a seller when listing items on Second Fit all transactions can be seen via the Stripe Express app.
If you're not 18 but wish to sell on Second Fit, we recommend discussing it with your parent or guardian. It's crucial to note that using anyone's Stripe account or payment when purchasing via card without permission is illegal.

Second Fit uses our members' location solely for the Fit Filter icon, assisting in finding listed items from sellers for sale within a specified distance. This feature is designed to provide a better overall experience for our members on the platform.
Listings will be disabled if members haven't been active within 12 weeks. This will ensure all items purchased on Second Fit are safe to buy and will be shipped in a timely manner. You can see if a user is inactive via their profile view.
